Studii. A absolvit Facultatea de Drept a Universitatii din Bucuresti si Colegiul Juridic Franco-Roman de Studii Europene in anul 2003. Este titulara unui master cu specializarea Dreptul Afacerilor de la Universitatea Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas (2004) si a unui master cu specializarea Dreptul Afacerilor si Guvernanta Corporativa de la Universitatea Harvard (2006). A obtinut titlul de doctor in drept la Universitatea din Bucuresti si Universitatea Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas, in anul 2017, cu teza Convergenta in materia dreptului aplicabil societatilor cotate la bursa din Uniunea Europeana, care a primit cel mai inalt calificativ in Romania si in Franta. Teza a fost de asemenea distinsa cu premiul II la categoria „Cea mai buna teza de doctorat” (sectiunea Stiinte sociale) in cadrul Premiilor anuale ale Senatului Universitatii din Bucuresti, editia I (2017).

Activitatea profesionala. Este cadru didactic la Universitatea din Bucuresti si Universitatea Paris 1 Panthéon-Assas, unde preda cursuri si seminare de dreptul contractelor si dreptul afacerilor roman, francez, american, european si international. De asemenea, este cadru didactic asociat la Universitatea Campbell, Raleigh, Carolina de Nord, SUA, unde preda cursuri si seminare de drept societar, drept comercial, arbitraj comercial si dreptul contractelor.
Este avocat membru in Barourile Bucuresti (2004), Paris (2006) si New York (2007). In prezent profeseaza in Statele Unite ale Americii si in Romania, fiind specializata in tranzactii si litigii cu o componenta internationala. A lucrat 12 ani ca avocat specializat in Fuziuni si Achizitii in cadrul societatilor de avocatura Linklaters (Bucuresti si Paris), Latham & Watkins LLP (New York) si Greenberg Traurig LLP (New York). Are, de asemenea, o bogata experienta in domeniul arbitrajului comercial, servind ca arbitru in cauze in fata International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) si fiind arbitru inregistrat pe lista Curtii Internationale de Arbitraj de pe langa Camera de Comert si Industrie a Romaniei si membru fondator al Asociatiei Vindobona pentru Promovarea Arbitrajului in Romania.
Experienta ei judiciara mai include stagii de lucru la: Curtea Suprema a Statului Delaware, Wilmington, DE, SUA, (2007-2008); Curtea Suprema Administrativa a Frantei (Conseil d’Etat), Paris, Franta (2002); Curtea Europeana a Drepturilor Omului, Strasbourg, Franta (2002); Tribunalul Bobigny (Tribunal de Grande Instance), Bobigny, Franta (2000).

Publicatii: Este autoarea urmatoarelor carti: International business transactions (in engleza), Ed. Premii: Premiul Simion Barnutiu (sectiunea Stiinte Juridice) al Academiei Romane pentru cartea Droit européen et comparé des sociétés et des affaires (2020); premiul I la categoria „Profesorul asociat al anului” (sectiunea Stiinte sociale) in cadrul Premiilor anuale ale Senatului Universitatii din Bucuresti, editia I (2017); Premiul II la categoria „Cea mai buna teza de doctorat” (sectiunea Stiinte sociale) in cadrul Premiilor anuale ale Senatului Universitatii din Bucuresti, editia I (2017).

Education. She graduated from the University of Bucharest faculty of Law and the Collège Juridique Franco-Roumain d’Etudes Européennes in 2003. She holds a master degree (DEA) in Commercial Law from the University Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas (2004) as well as a master degree (LLM) in Corporate Law and Governance from Harvard University (2006). She completed her PhD at the University of Bucharest and the University Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas, in 2017, with a dissertation titled „Convergence regarding the law applicable to listed companies in the EU”, which received the highest academic distinction in Romania and in France. 

Professional activity. She is a professor at the University of Bucharest and the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Assas (Collège Juridique Franco-Roumain d’Etudes Européennes), where she teaches courses and seminars in US, French, Romanian, European and International Business Law and Contract Law. She is also an assistant professor at Campbell University in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA, where she teaches courses and seminars in Business Organizations, International Business Transactions, Commercial Arbitration. She is a member of the Bucharest (2004), Paris (2006) and New York (2007) bars. Presently, she practices law in the United States and Romania, with a focus on transactions and disputes with an international component. She worked for 12 years as an attorney specialized in Mergers & Acquisitions for several international law firms, including Linklaters (Bucharest and Paris), Latham & Watkins LLP (New York) and Greenberg Traurig LLP (New York). She also possesses an extensive experience in commercial arbitration, having served as an arbitrator in disputes administered by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and being a registered arbitrator with the Court of International Arbitration of the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as a founding member of the Vindobona Association for the Promotion of Arbitration in Romania.
Her judicial experience includes several internships with the Delaware Supreme Court, Wilmington, DE, USA, (2007 – 2008); the Supreme Administrative Court of France (Conseil d’Etat), Paris, France (2002); the European Court of Human Rights, Strasbourg, France (2002); and Bobigny Superior Court (Tribunal de Grande Instance), Bobigny, France (2000).

Publications: She authored several books, including Droit européen et comparé des sociétés et des affaires (in French), Ed. Hamangiu, Bucharest, 2018; Anglo-Saxon Business and Contract Law (in English) Ed. Universitara, Bucharest, 2017; International Business Law (in English), Ed. Universitara, Bucharest, 2017, as well as numerous articles in American, French and Romanian law reviews.

Awards: Award of the Romanian Academy for best law book, for the book Droit européen et comparé des sociétés et des affaires (2020); first place in the category „Best associate professor” (Social sciences section) in the Annual Awards of the Senate of the University of Bucharest, first edition (2017); Second place in the category „Best PhD” (Social sciences section) in the Annual Awards of the Senate of the University of Bucharest, first edition (2017).
